About
Origin
I grew up in Auburn, Alabama, in a house that knew work before it knew comfort. My father served three tours in Vietnam. My mother gave sixteen years to a factory floor. Then the job left. When the lights were at risk, I went to work. I was thirteen.
The standard
Dignity is not inherited. It is earned. Tell the truth. Finish what you start. Take responsibility for the people beside you.
The work
I began as a construction manager at Walmart and worked my way to Vice President of Construction at Buc-ee’s. I learned the job from the ground up: the schedule, the money, the people, the days that do not go as drawn. I still trust a site more than a slogan.
Family
I am a father. I work so the next generation inherits more than my ambition. I want them to inherit my standard.
